Thrive is unlike any other health, wellness, wellbeing, or engagement industry conference. It’s a comprehensive yet intimate conference, attended by HR, benefits and wellbeing executives and leaders, all of whom are facing similar challenges and eager for real results. This is a rare opportunity to learn firsthand how other administrators, leaders and executives across the country are tackling workplace wellbeing, employee engagement and organizational culture. Our event is designed so that attendees can engage with each other, share insights, explore each other’s successes and challenges, and experience the latest wellbeing and engagement innovations.

 

Attendees gain actionable, real-life strategies for improving employee health, wellbeing and engagement within their organizations, along with ideas for evolving programs and achieving positive outcomes. You'll also hear from Virgin Pulse leaders on our product vision and innovation for 2022 and engage in 30+ interactive sessions centered around healthcare costs, company culture, employee experience – covering hot topics like diversity, equity and inclusion, mental health and wellbeing, work/life balance, hybrid work, and more.

Thrive Overview

We’ll take care of everything once you get here, but travel and accommodation are up to you. We’ve negotiated an exclusive, discounted room rate at the Fairmont Austin. To reserve your room, call the Fairmont Austin’s Reservation Department at +1-800-257-7544 and request the Virgin Pulse Thrive Summit special group rate or visit this online reservation link.  We recommend planning your trip from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday evening.

Is hotel or airfare covered in the cost of Thrive? 

Yes, the following hotels are a quick walk to the Fairmont. The Westin Austin Downtown, Austin Marriott Downtown, Hampton Inn & Suites Austin-Downtown or Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Downtown. 

Are there other hotels to stay in besides the Fairmont Austin?

We’ll have “Thrive Power Ups” after the event – timing is TBD but likely a week or two following Thrive.

These will be broken out by key tracks from the summit and will be approximately four hours spread out over two days. All in-person and livestream attendees are invited and encouraged to attend (tickets include access to virtual workshops). Attendees will receive a certification of completion.

What’s the post-conference virtual workshop? 

  • Vaccination: All attendees must be vaccinated for COVID-19 to attend in person. You are considered fully vaccinated if you received either of the following:

  • Proof of Vaccination: Attendees must provide a CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or an official immunization record from the jurisdiction, state, or country where the vaccine was administered. Bring your CDC vaccination card OR show proof of vaccination through one of the following digital apps: 

    • CLEAR Health Pass 

    • CommonPass 

    • VeriFLY 
       

  • Masks: Attendees will be encouraged to wear masks but not required. 
     

  • Testing: We will not be offering onsite testing nor requiring a negative test prior to Thrive

What is the COVID-19 protocol at Thrive?

To be determined based on COVID environment.

Will there be onsite testing available? 

We have a capacity of 700. We have a COVID task force with two physicians who will be providing guidance leading up to the event.  

How many people are we expecting in person at the event? 

Attending in person will cost $1,495 and livestreaming the mainstage sessions is $495. These prices include the virtual workshop happening after Thrive. 

How much does it cost to attend Thrive?  

The deadline to register for the all-access in person pass and hotel booking at the Fairmont Austin is March 31. The deadline to register for the virtual pass is Monday, April 18.

What’s the registration deadline?   

Yes, all attendees must provide a CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or an official immunization record from the jurisdiction, state, or country where the vaccine was administered.

 Is proof of vaccination required? 

  • Welcome Reception on Tuesday, April 26 including hors d'oeuvres

  • Access to all Mainstage Keynotes and Summit sessions  

  • Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on Wednesday, April 27

  • Access and visibility to over 20 sponsoring partner companies  

  • Breakfast, lunch and snacks on Thursday, April 28  

  • A variety of daily wellness activities  

 What's included in the cost of Thrive? 

Simone Biles, Olympic Gold Medalist, and Mental Health Advocate will be this year’s keynote speaker! Many other world-renowned experts, academics, innovators, and industry leaders will speak on topics that are top of mind right now for every health, wellbeing and business leader. Stay tuned as we announce more speakers.

Who will speak at Thrive? 

Yes, all mainstage sessions and select partner activities will be available as a Thrive Encore Series after the summit for all attendees.

 Will recordings be available after Thrive? 

Because we are focused on creating a collaborative, interactive setting, we have custom designed our breakout sessions to bring you the very best experience. Hands-on learning opportunities will be paired with client stories and breakthrough research and product innovations. Many of our presenters will be industry leaders and academics from the Virgin Pulse Science Advisory Board or clients who are doing exceptional work promoting health, wellbeing and engagement within their own companies. Our sessions will focus on the future of the industry, new technologies and the relationship between employee wellbeing and engagement.

Yes, the mainstage sessions will be livestreamed if you choose to attend virtually. All mainstage sessions and select partner activities will be on demand after the summit for all attendees. Additionally, attendees can participate in a virtual workshop one week after Thrive.
